| 544712 | 2007-04-27 13:18:00 | windows XP pro, i dont use the startmenu, ever. i dont have anything in it, except an empty startup folder in the all programs menu. img209.imageshack.us i have breifly named shortcuts to about 68 different things in the windows directory for easy access via the run command; ut for utorrent, wow for world of warcraft, mo for firefox, cnc3 for command and conquer, etc... as for turning my computer off, i can do that via the run command, or via the taskmanager, or i can rip the power cable out (which is what i do if i EVER turn it off, which hardly ever happens). basicly i think it would look cool not to have a startmenu. [edit] a registry entry i can edit would be preferable. [edit] also, how do i remove the recycle bin from the desktop? |

That should unlock it, then giving you the option to and drag it down, hiding it from view when your mouse runs over the edge where the taskbar meets the desktop. | Jams (1051) | ||
