I have a computer which I am replacing the motherboard in, but one thing is holding me up - the power switch/LED and HDD LED (no reset switch). They are all connected, but otherwise are standard. Is it safe for me to seperate them and get the computer going? |

I don't see a problem
They will be seperated by plastic and breaking that isn't going to do anything major. |

Use a sharp knife to cut the plastic. A strong blade (like a Stanley knife)helps. |

I do, I think. Somewhere in my basement. You can have it if you don't mind shooing away the crawly creatures that took residents in the case....:D |
