1. Whats the mobo/brand/model?

2. Whats in the case, besides the cd/dvd/ram PCI cards etc?

3. Have u tried taking everything out except the ram/cd/dvd and hdd/and videocard?

4 Did u actually configure the BIOS? Try setting the BIOS to its default settings, and reconfigure it again.

5. As Agent said, check for a BIOS shadow option in the BIOS. If its on and its crashing, disable it.

6. Check the ram with memtest. If u have 2 ram simms/dimms, take out out, and see if it still crashes, if it does remove it and put the other simm in.

7. When u installed windows, did u install the mobo drivers as well?

I take it, when the system crashes, it doesnt give u the name of a file as well?

That stop error may mean something thats loading (like a driver, or you've got hardware thats installed, that isnt compatible with something.
