| 544289 | 2007-04-25 11:36:00 | Whenever I turn on my computer and the desktop has loaded, a window pops up (C:\Program Files\common) which contains a file (VsoVprev.ax) that was created when I installed a program called ConvertXtoDVD. How can I stop this folder from coming up, as I don't see what the point of it is. The file is just used to render video previews when you're about to convert them to a DVD format. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. img84.imageshack.us |

| 544290 | 2007-04-25 19:44:00 | Easiest way, stop the app from starting when the computer starts. Go to start > run and type this "msconfig" (without the ""). Press enter; then go to the start tab and look for a tick beside anything that has to do with this programme (ConvertXtoDVD) or the file (VsoVprev.ax). If there is, click on the tick to untick it. Click ok You should see a popup saying something along the lines of "The system configuration has changed ... there will be 2 options (one will ask if you want to restart). You dont have to restart but you can if you want to check you have stopped this little problem |

What else can I try? |
