545650 2007-04-30 09:30:00 Ok, Now that I know where your at I can help you.

Click on Advanced (at the top of page)

Then Click Virtual Server (left hand side of page)

Then in Catagory Click on User

Then Click Add

type a name for your rule

If it's a TCP port leave it as TCP

Then Type in the port address 3 times into Port Start, Port End & Port Map.

So all the entries will have the same port number.

Next Click on Appy

Then you will be back to your Virtual Server window.

Click on User & highlight the port rule you just made.

Then in the middle of the page between the 2 boxes click Add

Click Apply.

Now to save this go to Tools (top of page)

Then go to System on left of page

Then Click Save & Reboot.

Your modem will reboot and your new port rule/forward will be saved.

If you get stuck, let us know.

545652 2007-04-30 10:03:00 Did you manage to forward the port thou?

What programme are you trying to open up the port for?

What AV & Firewall are you running. Configure your Firewall for the same ports.

When I use to have Norton, It's Internet worm protection use to stop my ports from forwarding.

Click on the icon. I have the same setup and have forwarded the port on the same router. Sometimes it isn't a green light, but everytime you go to the portforward website it always says that the port is forwarded correctly.

(That is if your setup is working like mine)

545655 2007-04-30 10:59:00 Yes Johnstons Right.

I use uTorrent also. Just use the port checker under the speedtest guide.
in uTorrent

As long as that says your port is open it will be fine.
