| 545138 | 2007-04-30 11:43:00 | My father pays $30 for a 10MBps connection unlimited bandwith per month in hong kong and also only Australia and NZ's broadband are the ones I can think of that are expensive and ridiculous pricing. But, ninjabear, that again reinforces the issue that a sparsely populated country = higher broadband costs and the only way to manage some of the cost is datacaps. Without datacaps, if the cost per user was averaged, many of us could not afford the cost of broadband. Simply not enough people to average the infrastructure and data transport and bandwidth costs amongst if it was "all you can eat". While I would prefer to see umlimited data, it would make little difference to me as I only use 1.5 GB of my 5 GB cap anyway. But I would object if I was subsidising someone using 50 or 100 GB. |

Just look what happened with Xtra Go Large or any ISP in the past that has offered unlimited data.... |

It depends on what bank you're with . As some do charge fees for ATM, and Eftpos, and for ringing them up (if u ring instead of going online) . Dunno what part of NZ ur in . Thats if ur in NZ, but tell me where it is, and I'll move there! |
