| 545759 | 2007-04-30 22:21:00 | How do I get Vista to show the network connection icon (the 2 little computer) when it is connected? | bk T (215) | ||
| 545760 | 2007-05-01 03:24:00 | Not sure if it's the same, but in xp pro go to : Network Connections -> Local Area Connection -> Properties and there is a checkbox with "show icon in notification area.." tick that, press ok, and they should appear Unless it's completely different in Vista, which is possible/probable with M$ lol |

Hi my HP Notebook's network system icon has disappeared again - this time, the network tab is greyed without a tick. How do I get it back? And also, I can't update the Windows Defender. Find it quite difficult to control Vista. lol |

Apparently there's no set amount of times to reboot but it has worked for myself and others. There's no reason or understanding why this happens but hey, that's Vista :) |

I'm always between connections on my notebook and it's annoying seeing a "No connection" icon in the tray. | sal (67) | ||
