Can anyone confirm av-comparatives.org as a reliable source? Number one was AntiVirusKit2007 (http:) which sounds a little dodgy. Anyone used it? From experience though I use AVG Free. The main gripes for me with this has always been its semi-unattractive app interface, so no biggies. |

Avast updates automatically on a nearly daily basis. It sounds a siren when it detects a nasty and does not kill the P C when it goes into kill the virus mode. I have no doubt someone will rubbish this posting, the temptation seems irresistable for some persons.Avast is pretty good and has a reasonable following on this forum (for those who use free AV's). Why would anyone rubbish it? My g/f uses it on her computer (of course Im the admin on this home network so I was the one who installed it to see how it went). So far I don't have any serious gripes with it |
