| 546039 | 2007-05-01 09:37:00 | Hi we have 2 pc running as hosts those pc conect to xtra broad band at work. both have the same internet ip address we have 2 laptops set as remote so we can conect to them the host pc at work from home. the problem we can not conect/find 1 host what can i do so both laptops can conect? | not me (11995) | ||
| 546040 | 2007-05-01 11:30:00 | What you need to do is setup one of the work PCs (the hosts) to accept PCAnywhere connections on different ports to the other work PC, which will be using the standard PCAnywhere ports. (5631 & 5632) Then you will have to setup port forwarding / virtual server in the broadband router at work to allow these new ports in. You will also have to tell the laptop at home to connect using these new ports to get to the second PC at work. Now can you follow that??? :confused: |
