545791 2007-04-30 23:35:00 questions you'd like me to ask him. Thanks Chris Keall (10417)
545792 2007-04-30 23:41:00 What makes freeview different from analogue TV?
(They all receive the free channels making it not worth the extra costs.)

What future plans are there for FV?

How do you think it will 'revolutionise' the way we watch?

Do you plan on inserting pay per view like Sky?

Why should the average Joe care?

545793 2007-05-01 00:00:00 Will it suffer from rain fade like Sky ?

What free to air live sports events are planned to be shown ?

How much advertising will shown ?

or how many programs will be squeezed between the ads ? :D

What happens when new services are added & you need to upgrade your decoder/box?

545794 2007-05-01 00:07:00 Why call it Freeview, when its not actually free to view it??

You'll still need the decoder / receiver, and a dish to get it?

Its like saying u can have my car, I'll send u the bill later

545796 2007-05-01 00:26:00 Can you use an existing Sky satellite dish instead of purchasing a new one (the Freeview website says they don't endorse this, but is it technically possible)? Lizard (2409)
545797 2007-05-01 00:37:00 When, will more decoder hardware be "officially" supported? More specifically, tuner cards for PCs which are capable of receiving the EPG. somebody (208)

Spose it depends on what receiver u get, but from what I've read yup it should work.

Like this receiver (www.dse.co.nz)

If the dish has the connection, it should work.

You mean like having to buy a TV and aerial to get analogue?
