| 546870 | 2007-05-04 11:20:00 | Got my grubby hands on a IBM Thinkpad 600N...cost me nothing so I'm happy. I'm putting a call out to any and all out there who may have some spare notebook SD RAM laying around (PC100/133 I believe it takes) I've got it running Win2K SP4, it only has 128MB of RAM but runs pretty good to my surprise. I think the max RAM it will take is 512MB but I'm not too sure, the manual isn't very user friendly for some strange reason. Hooked it up to the 3Com router via wireless and its updating at the moment. Pretty good effort I have to say from something that is from 1999 - 2000. Cheers |
