| 546830 | 2007-05-04 06:46:00 | Hello again everyone - I'll keep this short. I'm desperately looking for a ThinkPad T60p (IBM/Lenovo), which has a 4:3 letterbox LCD. These were taken down from the Lenovo website a couple of weeks ago (without any warning. hmph.), and I've been struggling to find anyone who may have one in stock (or may have one to sell me). The story behind it is quite long, but I'll share if you want. For now, if anyone has any idea where I may be able to pick one up (preferably new), please tell! Either 15" or 14.1", either IPS or not, either SXGA+ or UXGA. I'm really after the top of the line model (Intel C2D T7600) - with the usual p configuration. Does anyone have stock? ANYONE? It's been my childhood dream to, amongst other things, have a ThinkPad of Doom. I had all the money to buy the top model brand new (after a long time), and them bam - in quick succession each model I wanted was end-of-lined. Bastards. I hate them. Now the T61 design looks crap and widescreen is, well, not my thing. Thanks in advance, Growly |
