| 547314 | 2007-05-05 12:16:00 | ok have just gone thru port forwarding and found my modem which is a belkin F5D7320-4 so it brings up the relevant information which is why it didnt earlier as i had the link to a different router anyway this is the page i was taken to www.portforward.com have put in the info to my router as it was shown in there and still have a low id, have even spent a few hrs reading emule website for help and havent seen anything there either it seems like it should be quite easy lol in theory but then for some unknown reason my computer wont co operate, does anyone else have any ideas? thanks again. |

| 547315 | 2007-05-06 00:30:00 | Going by the screenshot you up loaded you are doing it right-(wheres your UDP port?) I would change the ports you are using, as you have choosen ports that are already listed, Althought this shouldn't make a difference (but you never know) Delete the 2 Rules you created and try these. Choose these for ports TCP 9643 UDP 16943 You didn't have a UDP port open but this still won't have any influence on your TCP port opening. Tick them to enable them. Save them in your router (Important to save) Then reboot it. Also just temporarily disable your windows firewall when you try this OR go into your windows firewall and open the same ports. (Just to be sure I would try disabling your firewall to be certain it's not stopping it) It could be Vista's firewall stopping them from opening. Other than this theres not much eles I can help you with. Goodluck |
