2007-05-06 19:45:00 | Again: does the patch work for WinXP, or just Win9x and Win2k ? | Strommer (42) | |
2007-05-06 20:15:00 | And why not just time sync in Win with an internet server? Oh wait. Do not sync with PressF1 servers. Time synching uses UTC/GMT, your computer still has to know what time zone and DST rules you're working under.Another reason to love linux :D

2007-05-07 00:03:00 | Again: does the patch work for WinXP, or just Win9x and Win2k ? the 2k version will work on XP but i expect MS to provide a "offical" patch at some time.... the 2K version should work with Vista but is untested with Vista, again i expect MS to provide a "offical" patch. this was made more for the older and unsupported versions of windows.

2007-05-07 04:48:00 | This patch is now mirrored here (mirror.erayd.net). Note that it could be a while before the link starts working, as the DNS record is new. | Erayd (23) | |
2007-05-07 05:29:00 | will be here (www.imagef1.net.nz) too (on a NZ server) in about 3 minutes | Dannz (1668) | |

2007-05-09 12:33:00 | any feedback yet?? I've got some queries. What is the "New Text Document.txt" for? Why is there a 4mb large executable? It says in the Readme "If you have Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition, or Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition then plase use the win9x version." but there isn't a subdirectory or .reg for Win9x, does Setup.exe do that? I know Win9x doesn't handle timezones the same way as the NT-based Windows do. We both had the same idea, and I made a patch specifically for Windows9x (rapidshare.com). It is a 2kb .reg file and also adds the missing Chatham Islands timezone. I tested it and it works for me.

2007-05-10 05:16:00 | I've got some queries. What is the "New Text Document.txt" for? Why is there a 4mb large executable? bugger, i have included cruft in the zip file. will update the zip later tonight. the setup.exe is USB flash drive drivers (dont ask) all you need are the two sub folders. on is for the win9x versions of windows and the other is for the NT/2K stuff.

2007-05-11 06:09:00 | So people can no longer get your passwords, credit card numbers, banking information, and your email mailing list from the .ZIP file? Hardly worth downloading it now. :( | Graham L (2) | |
