I have a desktop and laptop and the laptop has a wireless connection. If you have more than five connections to your regular connection then you need the full wiring contract otherwise you just need the filters. |

| 546621 | 2007-05-05 05:49:00 | Only if there are things connected to those connections. No you need to have a proper wired install if you have 5 or more jacks even if you aren't using any of them. We had that problem here when we first got broadband. Tried a self install but couldn't get ADSL connection to work. Unplugged everything from all jacks but still wouldn't work. After tech cam out and put in a jack for ADSL all was fine. |
