New model. I've installed a few over the last week or two and they are a very nice unit. The wireless range is good too.

546619 2007-05-04 15:55:00 Thanks everyone for your help. I have 2 phones connected to 2 of the phone jacks and a pc to another the 4th point I'm not using. I have a desktop and laptop and the laptop has a wireless connection.
If you have more than five connections to your regular connection then you need the full wiring contract otherwise you just need the filters.

Only if there are things connected to those connections.

No you need to have a proper wired install if you have 5 or more jacks even if you aren't using any of them.

We had that problem here when we first got broadband.
Tried a self install but couldn't get ADSL connection to work.
Unplugged everything from all jacks but still wouldn't work.

After tech cam out and put in a jack for ADSL all was fine.
