My cable company advertises internet downloadn speeds faster than T1The terms T1, T2 and T3 don't mean a lot here in NZ (other than Arnie movies :D); what sort of speeds do each of these support (I know I can google this, but its aimed at helping those who are googley-challenged :D )

547784 2007-05-07 21:04:00 from a Telecommunications standards point of view T1 = 1.5 Mb/s, T2=4 x T1, T3=4 x T2 etc

in NZ we are based more on european standards with E1, E2, E3 which equate to 2, 8, 34 Mb/s etc

However you can't buy Broadband connections using these speeds except for expensive commercial offerings

547785 2007-05-07 21:15:00 Seems to me the trouble is with the servers you are uploading to.
My upload speed is always over 700 kbps to my ISP.
But from then on it drops to anything from 40 to 400.
