Windows XP Professional allows a maximum of 10 other computers to connect to its shared resources simultaneously. Computers that aren't actively connected to a computer's shared resources don't count against the limit. When a computer disconnects from a shared resource, it no longer counts against the limit. | 547876 | 2007-05-21 10:13:00 | Depends if youre on broadband or dialup if u want them on the net. If BB then leave them on auto, if dialup, give each one an ip manually. And if u wanna share a folder on each make sure the workgroup names are the same. |

Thats it just put the ips in manually and give them 192.168.0.x etc. And subnet 255.255.255.0. Dont worry about DNS, thats only for the net. Leave it blank. I think you'll only need ips if you're going to play games on each. |

| 547879 | 2007-05-21 13:09:00 | No, you'll need to give them IPs. XP doesnt support IPX/SPX out of the box.. just assigning each an IP address (Each one incrementing by one) with No gateway, No DNS, just a subnet mask and an IP address should get you sorted :) |
