| 548535 | 2007-05-09 01:31:00 | Im presently on the wired country network with ihug as my isp . In early January I noticed that Wired Country and Ihugs usage pages were very different in what they stated as to the amount of data I had used . Since then things have continued and constantly Wired Countrys usage page shows my usage at around 40 to 60 percent higher than Ihugs . I also run netmeter on my server pc to check figures, netmeter is always within 5 to 10% of ihugs figures . I've now approached wired country numerousl times in regards to this but most of the time its like hitting my head against a brick wall! They simply dont want to know, however I have sent my findings to a senior network manager at wired country who on closer inspection has confirmed that wired country has a serious issue (which affects all wired country users) with the way they track data usage however nothing has been done to rectify the situation . I even left my equipment off completly for a couple of days and it still shows that ive used around 60mb on these days . So I urge all wired country customers to check there usage and if like me it is way out then contact wired country about it . The more people that complain the more likely they are going to sort the issue . To complain contact: ilateef@compass . net . nz As at present we are getting seriously ripped! For example my cap is 10gb so when it gets around an actual 5 to 6gb with ihug and netmeter ive reached 10gb according to wired country and speed gets throttled back to 64k . |

| 548537 | 2007-07-01 10:16:00 | Another problem with IHUG/Compass is they have different billing dates, so my 10G cap for IHUG is the end of each month and the 10G cap with compass is the 10th of each month so if I hit the 10G cap I get speed limited 10 days by Compass or 20 days by IHUG depending on the time of month and it's too hard to manage. I have rang the so called help desk and just get unhelpful morons. I even got an email from a guy at IHUG saying it's sorted out. End of the month same problem. So I ring up and say "Hey you sent an email that you sorted it out" answer from dumb ass IHUG guy, he's left IHUG and we can't help you". IHUG suck just as much as Compass.:mad: |

| 548538 | 2007-07-11 12:06:00 | Well F*ck you Compass (and IHUG) , you didn't even bother replying to my (polite at the time too) email . . . . it's off to Orcon or Xnet for me . . . . Wireless connection would be perfect if they correctly measured usage . I got speed capped once again by Compass (doesn't Compass sound like Suck My Ass?) yet according to IHGU I had only used about 4 Gig, can IHUG and Compass sort it out between themselves . . . NO . Rang Ihug four times and got 4 different answers . . . each pimple faced support lemming saying "The guy you spoke to before doesn't know what he's doing", IHUG once again proving how professional they really are . |
