| 548255 | 2007-05-08 09:59:00 | I need to run a one off validation of part of a website to check all the links that are there are working. These will be in the 100's if not 1000's of links and cross links and circular links too (of course!). The site is password protected and thus I can logon and do things by hand but wonder if there a tool that I can give my can logon to and it will do the checking for me? Or should I get out a large USB drive and download it and take it home and use an offline validation tool? Between the clients security and my lack of skills in html I am lost on this one. Thanks :badpc: |

I always add the word free to the EXACT PHRASE box. But every bigga puts free on their webpages now so its nearly worthless... I have got the 3 gigabytes of the static html on my notebook now and will scan it there... as i could not get the site scanned by anything I found. Its amazing that no tool is available onsite.... in fact ITS SHOCKING! :D |
