| 548215 | 2007-05-08 06:27:00 | I have an adobe pdf file. I cannot edit it in the free version of adobe acrobat reader. i don't want to purchase the full version. Does anyone know of any free software that you've used that works and that can edit pdf files(like change some text) and save them? I have tried all the software from download.com but they do not work and some are not full versions. Do you have photoshop, because you may be able to do some basic editing with it. |

| 548217 | 2007-05-08 07:35:00 | You cannot edit pdf files with the reader - - you have to have the writer [ or whatever it's called] Since PDFs are created by a post scripting app such as Distiller usually contained in desktop publishing software or sold as Acrobat Distiller, you would need that first since you can't do anything with a postscript file on its own. |
