| 549265 | 2007-05-12 06:17:00 | Hey guys, Just installed 2 160gbs and a silicon image sata raid card in my dads PC, set up a mirror and installed windows on em. But now I can't figure out how to boot...? I checked all the options in the BIOS boot things and there is one called SCSI but that doesn't work. Any idea how I could do it? The mobo is an Asus A7N8X with no onboard sata. I was thinking maybe copy the ntdlr and boot.ini files and everything, copy em to a cheapo samll usb stick that says plugged in, the BIOS boots to that and then boots from there. Is there an easier way? Cheers, Rob |

| 549268 | 2007-05-12 07:07:00 | Have you tried the different harddrive option e.g. HDD-2, HDD-3 etc I just downloaded the manual for that board off the Asus website and there no option for PCI or RAID, so the HDD-2 or HDD-3 are likely to your best bet. | Pete O'Neil (6584) | ||
