549185 2007-05-11 21:25:00 I'm having an issue which I beleive is due to my DSL-502T Modem.

When I am on the road, I connect to our office server thru a dial up connection to the Internet and then make a VPN connection to our Server. Outlook will then pick up my email from our Exchange server. I can also use Remote Desktop to connect to our Server.

However, when I am a home and try to do the same, except using Broadband and the DSL-502T, I cannot get my email. The VPN connect appears to be made [I get a mesaage saying "??? is now connected"].

Any Ideas??

549186 2007-05-11 21:29:00 Are you trying to get in remotely from home too?

Using remote desktop?? If you are is XP Pro installed at home?

Or do you use the laptop on BB at home as well?

549187 2007-05-11 21:39:00 Outlook has a setting to allow it to connect using LAN or phone line. Might be worth checking.
Go to More settings and connection tab.

In answer to your questions.
I use the notebook on BB at home as well, as at work.
I have also tried on my desktop at home.
Both the Notebook and Desktop use XP pro SP2, and Office 2003.

On the notebook, on the road, when using dialup, I connect to our server using a VPN. Outlook then connects amnd updates. I can also use Remote Desktop to connect to the server.

My Outlook settings are
Connect using my Local Area Network
Connect to my exchange mailbox using HTTP

Cheers
