549895 2007-05-15 01:35:00 Can anyone recommend a good programme for converting PDF files to TXT or DOC files.

Free would be good as I don’t need to do this very often, but prepared to pay for a good simple one.

549896 2007-05-15 01:37:00 Adobe Acrobat. I am pretty sure that someone posted a similar question not too long ago, so you may want to try a forum search. robbyp (2751)

549898 2007-05-15 02:48:00 Hi B.M. Have regularly and successfully used Scansoft PDF converter for some time but it will cost you. Converts all, including graphics. Scouse (83)

You can also select the text in acrobat reader, and paste it into notepad.

549902 2007-05-15 07:36:00 All done . :)

PdfEdit995 did the trick .

The programme seems to come in pieces but the Edit one was what I was looking for .

Programmes of this nature seem awfully thin on the ground . :(

Thanks everyone .

549903 2007-05-15 09:52:00 Well Acrobat is such a market leader in this field, there isnt much opportunity in creating competing products. beeswax34 (63)
