So I go to http://gaim.sf.net to download Gaim (as I do from OptusNet on occasion as a Speed-Test) and its now changed: http://www.pidgin.im Gaim is now Pidgin We've got a new name, a new look, and a ton of new features, but we're still the same old instant messaging client you know and love. We've changed our name as part of a trademark settlement with AOL, and have finally released our long-awaited version 2.0.0. Read all about it on the News page. New site looks nice too :) Still not sure what the ton new features are since gaim-2.0-beta6 I wonder if its in Ubuntu's Apt repositories yet :D |

However, the pidgin.repo file needs to go into /etc/yum.repos.d/ for Core 6 (not sure for the others) and not /etc/yum/repo.d/ as given on that page. :) A quick peek at Pidgin shows a few decor changes ;) |
