549849 2007-05-14 22:44:00 Is the heatsink on the CPU mounted properly? CPU temp may be climbing to point where system shuts down. PaulD (232)

549852 2007-05-15 02:14:00 As mentioned before its possibly a heat issue, check out the Arctic Silver website for the correct way to apply thermal paste and remount the heatsink.

It could also be a power issue, a 430w Pure Power is probably boarder line for that system. Do you plug in the all the power connectors to the motherboard, this includes the 4pin and and 24pin connectors. I have a suspicion the 430w Pure Powers dont have the correct motherboard connectors.

549853 2007-05-15 02:51:00 The 20+4 connector has probably been snapped to fit the older board, he just needs to incl the other 4 at the end. (correct way around of course) SolMiester (139)
