| 549755 | 2007-05-14 08:19:00 | Hi All. Do all of the Vista OS's have this? Is anybody actually using it? If so, how does it compare with earlier Speech Recognitions, such as on MS Office Prof 2003 ? Yes I know there are Programs out there, such as Dragon Speaking Naturally, & others. PJ |

From the demos that I have seen, it would probably be easier and faster to set up and use desktop shortcuts (or have your apps located in the Vista dock -assuming it works that way) and keyboard commands, rather than worry about telling your PC what to do- since it is Microsoft we are talking about:rolleyes: MS is not the only company that incorporates speech recognition software with their OS. |

Lately my fingers have not been doing what my brain says to do. Only two fingers at that. So I looked at re-visiting Speech to Text. I did try the MS Office 2003 version but was not very successful, & gave it away. I will probably have to try a bit harder. PJ |
