| 550505 | 2007-05-17 03:33:00 | Hi all I updated my java today but I didn't notice any mention of it uninstalling an older version, so i went to the Add/Remove programs section and found i have 4 versions of Java J2SE Runtime environment 5.0 Update 6 Java 2 Runtime Environment SE v1.4.2_01 Java(TM) SE Runtime environment 6 Java(TM) SE Runtime environment 6 Update 1 Now i read here (www.java.com) that you can remove the older versions but that it may effect some applications Altogether the above java installations take about 500mb of space and my C:\ is rather cramped, so anyone out there know how likely this is to cause problems as i am thinking of getting rid of the first 3 Cheers |
