| 550152 | 2007-05-16 00:22:00 | hey guys. i recently acquired a used ibm thinkpad 600 - 256ram. pIII, 20gb hd, running windows xp. Here's the problem - It works fine - for about 24hrs on ac power then switches over to battery. Battery power is supposed to last one hour fully charged. it doesn't. access the web and you're done. then, you can't access ac power for about a day afterwards. What's wrong? Do I need to replace the battery, ac, or is it something even more sinister? Any help would be appreciated as this is my first experience with a laptop. thanks.:dogeye: |
