| 550075 | 2007-05-15 21:22:00 | When plugging a usb pen drive into a networked pc the pen drive doe not show up in 'My Computer' . I have been told of a fix previously where something is deleted from the windows system file and then after rebooting the drive shows up but I cannot for the life of me find this fix anywhere on the net . The safely remove hardware icon does show up in the task bar so it is seen by the pc . . . . any advise greatfully accepted . NT . |

| 550076 | 2007-05-15 21:28:00 | You could try going Administrative Tools > Coputer management>Storage>Disk Management and see if you can see it there. It may have taken a drive letter of a network drive. If so, rite click on the flash drive and change the letter to one that's not asigned..
