| 549960 | 2007-05-15 20:43:00 | I think just the HDD and fans. But I was told by some that the motherboard makes a little hissing noise. Don't know if that's true though. | qazwsxokmijn (102) | ||
| 549961 | 2007-05-15 21:55:00 | hissing noise? shouldn't think so. Many motherboards have a small cooling fan on the chipset, the psu has a fan, the cpu has a fan, the case can have several fans, all these make noise and it adds up. HDD, optical, and floppys all add a little noise, but for optical and floppys only when in use. You can buy quiet replacement fans and neoprene washers for case fans & psu designed to reduce the amount of noise transferred to the case through vibration etc, you can also purchase quiet cpu coolers, psu's, chipset coolers etc all of which costs money, might be easier just to put up with it. The noisiest things are high speed fans, and smaller fans make a more annoying higher frequency noise than larger ones. My old intel cpu cooler was particularly annoying |

I can't believe you don't know the difference between here and hear. |
