| 549938 | 2007-05-15 02:24:00 | I've just installed Vista Business. All seems well, apart from the fact that there seem to be some missing items from the control panel. I don't see anything to adjust screen resolution etc, and also the "computer management" item is missing. I know they exist, because I can get to them via help. There may be others not there also, but how would I know?:) Any ideas? Apart from this, I've been pleased with Vista. It certainly sems to start and shuts down more quickly than XP Home on my other PC, which admittedly is a slower machine. |

| 549942 | 2007-05-15 06:01:00 | I've discovered it is under "administrative tools". Right-click "Computer" on the desktop and select "Manage", just like XP.Thanks for that Sal. I'd actually never noticed that option. :o Funnily enough, it works OK on Vista, but on my XP machine I get "access denied". - Not a biggie, though, as the XP m/c is due for re-installation soon, anyway. |
