| 1415028 | 2016-01-25 00:48:00 | Why are so many laptops still being sold with W7 or W8? For example, look at PB Tech's offerings. Or Tailor Made Computers. Is it old stock? Don't they like W10? :) Just wondering! |

Some dont want Win8,10. Its that simple. They wont be ancient stock, they will be factory downgraded to Win7 (with a Win8 or Win10 lic) Some companies need to use software that has zero official support for Win8,10 . If it works on 10 is irrelevant if the software company just refuse support it on 10 . Some companies want to keep all there PC's on the same OS , or dont want to train staff how to use Win8,10 : Zero company training so no new OS's . Some others just dont want(refuse) to learn anything new, so they get given Win7 . Others still remember the burn from Vista & dont want to be burnt again , so avoid new OS's :-) |

I, too, liked XP. To me it was the one that suited me the best. I only had it on an older PC & when that died I was somewhat saddened. PJ :( |
