| 1408940 | 2015-09-26 07:51:00 | Honda released a history snapshot on animated paper on USA TV. Now on YouTube (www.youtube.com) (YT vid) and on the official Honda site. From the motor cycle to boats, racing cars and it's Honda plane to remind people of it's history. I think they took advantage of the emission cheat scandal that has hit Volkswagen heavily- where they used defeat devices to turn off emission controls to boost performance. Their CEO has just resigned. (www.cnbc.com) Brand channel interview (brandchannel.com) with Honda's Marketing Manager. "We all make great cars today" "We need to stand Out". Also it's new sporty Civic (www.autonews.com) to show case on Youtube Space in LA - almost looks like a Accord. EPA regulators (www.wsj.com) are likely to road test cars, rather than relying on certificates and statements. Maybe many forget or don't want to know - Honda also has a vast range of utility engines. But I have not forgotten the Civic I had around ''81 which like many others rusted easily. |
