| 1408397 | 2015-09-14 22:59:00 | 1. How to make a document or movie clip short cuts to home screen? Similar for desktop. Currently have to navigate through the many nested folders I created in the "My files folder to view them. 2. Also how to get the day and date to display in large on the home screen, rather than the minute display in the notification bar. Thanks... |

If there's not one you like search the play store. Many standard apps such as the clock also have a widget associated with them so you may be surprised what's available. edit, not all versions of android access the widgets the same. Mine is 5.0 |

Mine is 5.0 Did not think about the widgets much. As you suggested the clock had time and date widgets, including for worldwide cities. So using that one, shows a good size date. "Try ES File Explorer , it has an option to "add to desktop" - Thanks for that App. works good for shortcuts, with many other features. |
