1408243 2015-09-11 14:24:00 I download Linux distributions through Torrent mirrors.

What you are asking, kind of borders whether its legal or not. I don't think you will get your answers here.

Search google.

Cheers,

KK

1408245 2015-09-11 22:03:00 Why download when you can just stream through Netflix, lightbox, quickflix, google play or itunes. psycik (12851)
1408246 2015-09-11 22:21:00 Maybe you have to pay for those. Driftwood (5551)

Quite, but at $13 a month for Netflix, it doesn't tax most of us.

1408248 2015-09-12 04:31:00 The odd TV program that's about it. Movies?? I usually wait until they appear on iTunes / Google Olay or the like. Movies seem to take too long to get the modern ones even the US Netflix site paulw (1826)
1408249 2015-09-13 05:53:00 If you live in the US, then probably you'd rarely use Torrent to watch TV programs.

However even in the US, you may not to able to find content, like old TV series.

Streaming content, like Netflix, legally distributed in countries outside the states can be very much different.

My US Netflix wishlist was over 200 titles. When I switched to New Zealand Netflix, over 80% of my wishlist could not be watched / disappeared.

Any form of streaming video, like Netflix, is great for recent and popular old movies, and a minority of TV series.

Obviously both Netflix and Torrent downloads take a great deal of bandwidth. I've often burned up 50 GB in a day

1408250 2015-09-13 06:01:00 By the way, here's a website dedicated to torrent downloads for TV content.

It's very much incomplete, but is a handy starting place. It gives you idea of what you're missing outside the UK / US.

Isnt this against the rules of this forum ? ie piracy sites

No need for torrents anyway, direct downloads are easy to find & alot faster.
Or just search youtube. :)
