| 1408693 | 2015-09-22 04:04:00 | $26M is a drop in the bucket, almost irrelevant when you look at govt spend/wastage in general . $26M on flag stuff, $30 Mil Americas Cup, Millions on 'hi-level' sports , millions on MP's overseas trips , a 'JetPack' , Millions on bale outs of Govt owned bankrupt companies . It just never ends . Yes I can see where you’re coming from, but I wouldn’t call $26M a drop in the bucket. But some serious belt tightening needs to be undertaken and I would suggest forgetting the flag and making about 30 MP’s redundant would be a good place to start. :D Remember the old adage: Look after the Pennies and the Pounds will look after themselves. ;) |

Don't you think that's a bit harsh? It's health professionals that admit someone to hospital. They're the ones responsible for him being there. You seem to be implying they shouldn't have admitted this particular guy? Surely you're not suggesting they let him die in pre-admission? |

| 1408698 | 2015-09-22 05:36:00 | Well I think the Hospital had a fiduciary duty, or duty of care, and someone realised this in the end, (Winston) hence the Air Ambulance, Nurse etc. However, that doesn’t excuse their initial position on the matter or the Health Ministers excuse. |
