One day a swag of convicts arrived carrying there Warden and his rifle. They asked me to call the Police and an Ambulance as the Warden was ill. None of them tried to escape, when I asked why they replied that at least they were fed and had accommodation at the end of a day's work. The alternative was to be unemployed with no social services or benefits. Crimes were committed just to survive. | mzee (3324) | ||

Same goes for Kenya, they put the one man who had any influence on all tribes, Kenyatta, in prison instead of using him. Result the British lost Kenya, and Kenyatta became President.
