Er...may I remind you of the fairly recent wire penis in New Lynn that cost heaps? And a temporary curtain in one of the libraries. And here out West we still don't have rubbish bins, still having to buy the annoying plastic bags. We still can't buy alcohol anywhere except at the booze shop. Both towns are nice but both have low socio economic areas. More so in Hastings though. I do most of my school van run in these areas in Hastings but bring them back to Napier. Hastings probably has older houses as Napier has grown more over the years I think. Ken	kenj (9738)

There used to be a lot of Head Offices in Napier, but no doubt they have all gone above the Bombay Hills by now, lol. Hastings does have some lovely parks. lurking.	Lurking (218)
