| 1408906 | 2015-09-26 03:35:00 | Hello I am getting my UFB connected up on Tuesday! I opted to do away with my copper line and I will probably buy a VOIP phone. What have you done? Keep the copper or ditch it? |

They connect one of the telephone walljacks to the router and all the phones work as normal. My ISP provides a landline number all you can dial locally. But yes if the power goes down as it has happen, the landline goes dead. If you wanted it, you would probably need to pay that $55 or $65 per month fee to Telecom/Spark. Not sure how it is configured down the road at the cabinet thoug if you have both UFB and Copper. |
