1408542 2015-09-19 06:28:00 I have just run Superantispyware and have as a result deleted 345 tracking cookies ! What a huge number. Once upon a time it might have been over 100, but a month or two back it was about 230. Are these tracking cookies increasing ? I must admit I quickly scan about seven international newspapers plus Facebook and google various photographic techniques etc. This has probably changed in that I tend to view more sites to keep abreast (can I say that word ??). What is your experience please ?

You can alter your browsers settings to not keep them....

(including all the adds as well)+1 for Ghostery. I block them all and it works well.

1408546 2015-09-20 21:19:00 Thanks guys, also nice to hear from you pctek - remember a lunch a group of us from PressF1 had in a foodhall in Queen St. I will try Ghostery, and will see if it is intrusive. The tracking cookies don't really
worry me, except, as I understand it, they eat into your bandwidth. 345 of them would I surmise slow down my browsing. Will also test out settings in Firefox as suggested.

Thanks zquerty - I have had a quick look, and will do so again. Got to make sure that I don't get rid of cookies that recognise you so you don't have to login, like for my home page - NZ City. :-D
