1408541	2015-09-19 10:02:00	The maori version, I think many NZ's had difficulty to interpret/comprehend - understandably. However the article - perhaps rightly suggests that the English version as well - i.e the meaningfulness of the lyrics and it's relevance to NZ. This means then that 1000's of NZ's for decades have sung or hymned the Anthem without any real meaning of what it is to us and to our country. Cynically we may not care about it too much...but I recall a Asian country did care - claiming it was their anthem or something resembling theirs. Time for a new unique anthem...one from NZ's for NZ/NZ's as BM suggested...	kahawai chaser (3545)
