1408162	2015-09-10 10:17:00	Sony Xperia Z3 and Z3 compact has had 4K video since their release in 2014. To use 4K video you would want the 128GB 6s model at $1599 or you would run out of space pretty quick. The Xperia compact costs $699 at present and can take up to 128GB memory card. There is also (right or wrongly) a demand for hi-res audio ability. Has the 6s got that yet? That is also a big file thingy.... and another thing that the Xperia can do. Of course once we see the prices that will probably change. :D I have an iPhone 6 and not enough reasons to get the 6s. One thing that cracks me up all the time is how people love to hate Apple, mainly because they think it is cool to 'Love to hate Apple'. They also have usually never even owned an Apple device before. Classic example, customer came in today for something and was asking about the new iPhone 6s. We asked them if they had an iPhone and they said "No f??? that I hate them! My cell provider gave me a Samsung Galaxy for free so why would I pay for an iPhone?!" They then went on about how they have so many problems with the Samsung! Where is the "No f??? that I hate Samsung!"???	CYaBro (73)
1408167	2015-09-10 19:46:00	I don't hate apple. I am amazed how great their marketing is. Sony could take lessons from them. iphones are very nice. I have used my son's one on occasions. I just wonder that they justify their prices. Obviously their fan base will support them plus a few others that will buy them. Mind you, my kids used to say that people would by horse turd hamburgers if the were marketed under the golden arches.:) Ken	kenj (9738)
1408168	2015-09-10 20:29:00	Apple - and others - are known for their successful marketing. Do you NEED a new phone? Does it have anything special? Anything new - and that you actually need to use? Probably not, but people just buy anyway. Look at all the docos and stuff now. Steve Jobs.....he was a salesman. He marketed the stuff. He sure didn't invent it. No-one ever sees much about Wozniack these days, yet he was the genius...way back when he decided the little boxes needed a KB and screen...(Pre-Apple). And Xerox, who came up with most of the other technology. Now it's just marketing.... This applies to all toys - TVs, cars, whatever. We still have dumb phones and and a TV with no connections except AV. But I don't NEED it really....so even with the prices now, I can't justify buying a new gadget of any kind. BUt this isn't good for profits of these companies is it, so of course they are going to bring out "new" and hype it up.	pctek (84)
1408169	2015-09-10 22:35:00	I don't think it should be a big surprise to anyone that the new iPhone is a small update, that's what Apple has been doing every second year for 3-4 generations now. iPad Pro, I'm not personally seeing the point. New Apple TV looks like a winner. And yes pctek, sometimes people buy things they want not just things they need. Woz is still pretty active in geek communities.	Alex B (15479)
1408170	2015-09-10 23:01:00	Not a Apple fanboy, but Id have to admit, if you buy Apple, you know what youre getting ie well made reliable hardware Apple have 100% control over everything they sell. So youre less likely to buy a complete turd. Cant say that with PC's or Android ph's . MS have little control over some of the lemons that Win is loaded onto. With Win based home pc's it seems like a race to the bottom, who can sell a PC the cheapest, dont worry about usability of underpowered hardware Brand name PC's (eg HP) supplied preloaded with demo AV that expires after 1 month, leaving the user with no AV (seen that , often) Lets not forget to critisize the state of the Android market, devices that can never be upgraded to newer Android (abandoned by manufacturer as soon as released), new devices sold with old versions of Android; some versions of android, still in general use, will NEVER get needed security patches .	1101 (13337)
