I sometimes tell people to add more RAM if they have less than 512 on WinXP, and now I know when they ask if it can be added to their old RAM. drcspy - thanks for answering my specific questions - not usual for this forum. Sweep and Tony - thanks for the programs. You have not left this room forever have you. If you insert a new stick and the system does not POST. Power On Self Test or Boot or start then there will be a problem. There happens to be several varieties of RAM. |
