550688 2007-05-17 11:19:00 i have a PC running XP with a 250 gig sata
the PC needs a format

problem being that i have to floppy drive to put sata drivers on to reinstall XP

it also has a IDE HDD

is there anyway to load sata drivers without a floppy drive?

I had this prob when I tried to install the SATA drivers on a laptop.

Sometimes the XP install screen found the USB flash drive, sometimes it didnt.

No, I'm pretty sure u need a floppy or something like a floppy. Not another hdd.
