| 550655 | 2007-05-17 09:04:00 | i have the most up to date version of windows live messenger and all of a sudden a couple of days ago i couldn't login. it is saying "your firewall may be blocking windows live messenger from connecting to the service. Please review your firewall settings" and the error code is 80048820 the extended is 8004801. i have tried port forwarding but honestly it just confuses me. i have the xtra standard Dlink DSL-504G. i have also uninstalled, reinstalled and used an older version and i have no idea what is going on. |

| 550658 | 2007-05-17 10:39:00 | I'd just wait and try tomorow... a lot of times it's a temp thing at their end that produces that error - I've had it a half a dozen times the last few years, usualy ok again the next day *Edit - oops sorry, just noticed you said a couple days ago* |
