| 551699 | 2007-05-21 07:18:00 | Tried to create a Ghost image of this old HPCompaq dc7100 SFF PC with Norton Ghost 2003 but half-way through, it hanged with this error: "Internal Stack overflow. System Halted." And, the worst part is, I couldn't boot my Windows XP anymore! No choice but to reinstall my OS. What is this Internal Stack overflow? |

| 551700 | 2007-05-21 08:42:00 | The Internal Stack overflow refers the the CPU at basic code level, where there are a number of memory locations used as a "stack". Last on is first off, as in a "Stack" of anything. The cause could have many reasons, such as a flakey HDD or something incompatable. SATA drives are known to cause that, there are workarounds for them as well. |

Did a little research and found out that NG2003 is not SATA friendly. Wish I had done the research before trying it. |
