551980 2007-05-22 05:55:00 What music were you wanting to stream PJ?

Just Free Jazz. Found AAJ which I can download MP3 from. Will settle for that. PJ

PS. Most sites seem to take a lot of our 1GB BB. So I can only download at the end of the billing month. PJ

551981 2007-05-22 06:08:00 There's a whole selection of jazz stations in iTunes under Radio.(there is a whole lot of other stuff too). Looks like about 30+ stations to choose from- not sure how many are actually good though.

Edit: just did a quick check and they seem to be pretty good. Good way to kiss your 1GB allocation goodbye:eek:

The 1GB is used by both me & Maryann. I can only 'Waste' what is left at the end of the month. I have already been down that road. Swmbo does not like us dropping down to modem speed, & shared by two computers. PJ:waughh:

Must be something I downloaded...but I lost Firefox on that puter that still has the WMP10 problem now.

That last site might've given me a problem, even though I got the same error message again with it too.

Once I dnldd it, I opened the containing folder...like I ALWAYS do to strange executable items and ran a registry test via AVG and it found nothing wrong..so I clicked on it and all hell broke loose.

Firefox now constantly tell me that it has "experienced a problem and needs to shut down" over and over...Hmmmm?

Oh, well..tomorrow (Wednesday) is another day and I don't mind reloading XP if it'll correct the WMP10 problem too.

551984 2007-05-22 06:52:00 Quicktime and iTunes user here with no problems at all. ;)

You are a user of a mac...
Has anyone told you that iTunes and Quicktime on windows is crap?
Because in my opinion, it is.
I go to great lengths to avoid those programs.
Then again, I'm not using windows much anymore myself now - linux user now...

1GB ain't hard to use up either:( That's why I'm on 5GB limit and I still have to watch my usage.

I have read that it is a few times although I never had any issues with it on my old PC, mind you I only had dial up so streaming music wasn't an option.
I'm not sure what the stats are although I would imagine that their must be more than a few million iTunes users on Windows out there considering that there are over 100 Million iPods sold world wide and the bulk of those would be to PCs rather than Macs. That number isn't slowing down either...

Edit: at least Unix isn't too bad.
