| 551682 | 2007-05-21 06:03:00 | I have a M35X-S163 and I need to find out what LCD screens will work to replace the cracked OEM CHUNGHWA CLAA154WA05. I found an LG Philips LP154W01(TL)(A2) that is supposed to work, but won't do anything but show a garbled screen. The original LCD still works and I can use an external LCD and/or CRT. I just can't find what LCD screens are compatible with this machine. I have been told that only certain LCD screens will work in certain laptops, but I can't find anything that will tell me what will work in this laptop. The Toshiba site has not been helpful at all. The CHUNGHWA and the LG Philips have the same 1280x800 resolution and are both WXGA. The only difference that I can see is that the CHUNGHWA has a matte finish and the Philips has a high gloss. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'll have to try to find a used, or low cost screen. |

There must be a way to find out which screens will work. I just missed an auction that was for an M35X LCD. Will a screen from any M35X machine work? Will any screen that is 15.4" and 1280X800 and WXGA work? | ZAKDAN (12300) | ||
