| 552520 | 2007-05-26 22:20:00 | I bought Publisher years ago as it wasn't that expensive but I never really liked it. I only have it now because it came with Office 2003. I hope InDesign isn't expensive - I'll qualify for student prices - because I better start saving if it's a must-have for my course! Bad news for you Beemer, InDesign by itself is around $700 which is pretty normal for a professional grade design software in NZ. It is "cheaper" in the US. You get Acrobat Distiller with InDesign which is essential for making PDFs. If you want Photoshop - if you haven't already got it, it is also about $700 on it's own which is why Adobe does the CS3 Suite with PSD, InD and Illustrator. Start saving. |
