| 552488 | 2007-05-23 09:11:00 | I currently get 600-800 KB/s or 6.4mb/s download from my IHUG/Telecom copper line connection. NOt saying that it is that good all the time but get enough connections on a good torrent and the minimum is 600KB/s or 4.8mb/s Upload not so good though with it topping at about 32 KB/s = 256kb/s |

| 552490 | 2007-05-23 09:34:00 | In Wanaka my dialup speed averaged 5kb/sec on a good day. After changing to broadband it has speeded up to 35kb/sec. | rocky138 (10636) | ||

| 552494 | 2007-05-24 06:19:00 | No matter what we have here, it is POOR in comparison to many places overseas. 5Mb/s down/up seems to be a good standard. Why is it not possible for them to deliver that here on ADSL? As for data caps/charges, I won't even go there. Enough has already been said. |

UnBlocka - Free UnBlocka is a powerful utility that dramatically increases the speed that you surf the web. The Windows operating system is not configured by default to take full advantage of modern high speed international high latency broadband connections. UnBlocka will tune the Windows computer to the optimum values based on the type of internet connection that you have e.g ADSL2+ or Cable Increase the performance of your P2P software or any TCP/IP based connection to a high latency international endpoint. Wireless users regain your lost Internet connection speed http://www.unblocka.com/ |
